William dons £5k gift from Diana- much pricier than Harry’s Dior shirt

Prince William could be seen wearing one of his favourite accessories during Saturday’s football match. The Prince of Wales wore his Omega “Seamaster Diver 300M Chronometer 42mm Watch” which holds a strong sentimental meaning.

The luxurious watch, which was a sentimental gift from his late mother Princess Diana before her untimely death in 1997, retails for a sensational £5,500.

Its description reads: “Since 1993, the OMEGA Seamaster Professional Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following.

“Today’s modern collection has embraced that famous ocean heritage and updated it with OMEGA’s best innovation and design.

“This 42 mm model is crafted from stainless steel and includes a blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale.

“The dial is also polished blue ceramic and features laser-engraved waves and a date window at six o’clock.

“The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the helium escape valve has been given a conical design.

“The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which can be seen through the sapphire-crystal on the wave-edged caseback.”

The price tag of £5,500 is certainly on the expensive side of things for many Britons, who were equally shocked when Prince Harry stepped out recently donning an £800 shirt.

Harry performed ‘submissive pose’ with Kate & William in 2017 – claims [BODY LANGUAGE]

The Duke of Sussex arrived at the Royal Courts of Justice on March 30, 2023, as he was one of several claimants in a lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.

For the occasion, Harry could be seen wearing a simple white shirt with a single gold bee embroidered into the fabric.

The shirt turned out to be an £800 garment from Dior called a “Bee shirt”.

The description says: “Quintessential savoir-faire from Dior ateliers, tailoring is at the heart of House heritage.

“Crafted in luxurious and soft white cotton poplin, the shirt is enhanced by a bee embroidered with 18-carat gold thread.

“The shirt can be worn with a suit for a timeless look or with jeans for more laid-back allure.”

Despite Harry’s shirt being extremely expensive, William’s £5,500 watch from Diana is over six times the price.

In comparison, at Saturday’s football match, William wore a pure cashmere polo jumper from the brand Luca Faloni which cost just £295, a lot cheaper than Harry’s shirt.

The description says: “This jumper is knitted in Bergamo, Northern Italy, with 100 percent two-ply pure cashmere from the prestigious Cariaggi Fine Yarns Collection.

“Fitted, yet comfortable. Luxuriously soft, with a weight of circa 300 gr.

“This versatile jumper is a smart choice for business casual looks with chinos and a shirt, and perfect for your free time paired with jeans.

“Given the insulating property of cashmere, you can wear it from autumn to spring.”
