HAVE you ever been walking alone at night and thought you heard a noise behind you?
A simple riddle can reveal if you're a psychopath based on what you imagine in the dark.
TikTok user Raphael Antoine, who runs the account riddleswithraffy, shared a riddle which can determine if you're a psychopath.
Setting the scene, the TikToker said: "Close your eyes and imagine you’re walking through the dark and eerie woods late at night."
"Your heart is pounding and you hear strange sounds all around you," he continued.
"Suddenly, you hear and feel breathing behind you and turn around instantly in terror. What do you see?" Raphael asked his viewers.

The TikTok user listed the possible answers: A wild animal, a pale person of the opposite sex, a shadow figure, a dog, a giant bug, or nothing.
"If you saw a dog….we need to talk," Raphael said in the comments section.
This answer is explained further on a Quora post, where users detailed why seeing a dog might mean you're a psychopath.
"Most neurotypicals, on imagining that they are walking through the woods alone at night, might start worrying and thinking about all the bad things that could happen. Fear is present in the mind," wrote one user.

They continued: "Psychopaths do not feel fear. So on hearing this scenario, I'm guessing their thought pattern would be different."
Another person added: "A psychopath would probably lean more on the dog side, because fear may not be in their inventory of emotion."
"Also, the over inflated view of self and grandeur would probably lead them to assume the dog was following them, because they are so interesting or powerful," they suggested.
On the other hand, rational fears like a stranger in the woods or a potentially dangerous wild animal are regarded as normal, as is the rationalization that it could be nothing at all.
