The Queen’s eldest granddaughter Zara Tindall and her long-term boyfriend Mike Tindall married in Scotland on July 30, 2011, just months after the whirlwind royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Unlike the Cambridges’ nuptials, however, Zara’s wedding was a low-key affair attended by only their close friends and family. Express.co.uk takes a look back at their blissful day in 2011.

The Queen’s granddaughter smiled at the assembled crowds as she got into her wedding car at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
