50 Cent’s Son Marquise Says He’ll Pay Him To Spend Time Together

Only a week after criticizing his father, 50 Cent, over child support, Marquise Jackson is offering to pay his father to spend time for him.

On Monday, the 26-year-old made an Instagram post referring to his father. “Since y’all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid,” he wrote.

Marquise added, “Red Yellow Green whatever color he like.”

The accompanying photo showed Marquise sitting on the floor next to the word “Entitled” spelt out with hundred dollar bills. This is a reference to an Instagram post 50 Cent made in 2015 when he spelt out “Broke” in hundred dollar bills on the floor amid his then-beef with Rick Ross.

Last week, Marquise called out his father during an Instagram Live, claiming that 50 Cent’s child support payments weren’t sufficient when he was growing up.

“$6,700 a month in the state of New York City? You do the math,” Marquise said.

He revealed that his father previously paid his mother $6,700 per month (or $80,000 a year). But given 50 Cent’s $40 million reported net worth, Marquise says the payments were too low.

“You’re talking about a Forbes lister, you’re talking about someone that has problems with everybody, you can’t just live in any neighborhood,” Marquise continued.

He added, “$81,000 is not a substantial amount of money. You can’t just live anywhere. You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can’t just live anywhere.”

50 Cent shares Marquise with his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. She’s been historically critical of her son’s father.

In 2009, Shaniqua launched a $50 million lawsuit against the rapper. She claimed that 50 Cent promised to take care of her for life when they had their son, but says he failed to make good on his promises. However, the case was eventually dismissed, with a judge saying it was an “unfortunate tale of a love relationship gone sour.”

50 Cent hasn’t addressed his son’s most recent comments. But he’s previously said that he believes their relationship is beyond repair.

“His mom developed an entitlement that cannot be met, filtering that energy through his actual personal interests,” he said in 2020. “I didn’t think that success would cost me my firstborn, but it’s the situation it is.”
