Page Six hears that the TikTok star, 21, pulled out of a press day to promote her global ambassadorship role with Vital Proteins at the eleventh hour on Wednesday.
Interviews were set with press for Thursday, but members of the media were told everything was canceled due to a “scheduling conflict.”
However, the last-minute cancellation has people whispering that she backed out due to the drama surrounding her father, who Page Six exclusively revealed allegedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman.
A source also tells us that journalists were asked to send questions ahead of time to be pre-approved by her team before they were granted an interview with the influencer.
Reps for Vital Proteins and Rae did not return our request for comment.
Earlier this week, Rae admitted she’s been “struggling” ever since the scandal broke.
“I’ve really been struggling to post and get out and do things but I love you all and you mean so much more to me than I can ever express,” she tweeted on Monday.
She added, “My life is forever changed thanks to all of the people who decided to care about me and support me. I love y’all <3 life is weird but worth it.”
On July 7, a woman named Renée Ash claimed to Page Six that she had a five-month affair with Lopez, who “misled” her about his marriage to Rae’s mom, Sheri Nicole Easterling.
“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together,” she told us, adding, “He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.”
Ash further claimed that she left him for hitting on other women – and after a video surfaced online of Lopez allegedly touching a girl’s backside.
Lopez has yet to address the scandal and never got back to Page Six’s multiple requests for comments.
After the scandal broke, Easterling wrote on Instagram, “Personal matters being brought public are always challenging and overwhelming for anyone involved. I will be okay.”
Easterling — who also shares sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8, with Lopez — has since changed her social media bio to “single mom.”
