Almost everyone has seen those heartwarming videos of delivery drivers becoming overwhelmed with emotion after discovering that one of the households they were bringing a package to left them a treat.

And now, a woman named Aniya Mitch has spoken out about the viral trend, and she said she believed it should become a normal practice for those who order a lot of stuff online.

In a video shared to her TikTok account earlier this week, Aniya, who works for Amazon, explained that people who get things delivered ‘every day’ or ‘every other day’ usually have the ‘same driver.’

‘And you ain’t putting no snacks out there? B***h,’ she scathed. ‘Y’all got a bond now. You see each other every day, and you ain’t leaving no snacks? You’re wrong.’

Aniya’s 19-second clip – which got more than 284,000 views – launched a massive quarrel between online users, some of whom agreed with her and others who argued that it’s their job and they don’t deserve an extra reward for it.

‘I don’t gotta put snacks for nobody. Bring my package. Thank you,’ one person wrote.

‘So if it’s a bond why don’t you bring me snacks instead since you already driving?’ another asked.

Someone else said: ‘You think seeing someone everyday means you need to give them snacks? I see people at work every day nobody gives me snacks either.’

‘No ma’am, your wrong, we don’t have to leave any snacks,’ a fourth comment read, while a fifth said, ‘You’re getting pay for that, go to the store and [buy] your own snacks.’

‘Should I put out a blanket and nap pad as well? You get paid to deliver,’ different user added.

‘So…. Now the Amazon drivers are shaking us down for hand outs. It is just another form of wanting a tip,’ someone else commented.

On the other hand, others claimed they liked the idea and were going to start putting goodies out for their drivers.

‘This Made my day. I leave goodies out every year,’ Kathy Ouma, from Middletown, Delaware, captioned the sweet clip, which was captured on her doorbell camera and got hundreds of thousands of views.

In it, driver Karim Earl Reed III could be seen dancing with joy after he discovered a bucket full of food.

‘Oh this is nice,’ he could be heard saying. ‘Oh they got some goodies! Oh this is sweet. Oh wow. Get out of here! This is sweet. This is so nice.’ 

He selected a few snacks before heading back to his truck – but he stopped midway to do a little jiggle on her front yard.
