Tear-rible news! Girl, 8, has a VERY dramatic reaction to finding out she’s getting a new sibling

This mum filmed the moment her daughter found out she is going to become a big sister, and her reaction wasn’t quite as they would have hoped for.
Kay Hancox, 35, from Coventry, filmed her eight-year-old daughter, Darcey, walking into the hospital room to reveal the exciting news when she was having an ultrasound.
The reveal did not go according to plan, as Darcey was not too happy to hear she wouldn’t be an only child anymore.
The eight-year-old began to weep and cry out, refusing to believe that she would be getting a baby brother or sister.
After watching a Disney Christmas advert where parents lose interest in their first child after welcoming another baby, the eight-year-old had been scared the same fate awaited her.

In the clip, Darcey was led into the room by her father, with a blindfold on her eyes.
After she has been sat down by her dad, the eight-year-old takes the blindfold off, to find out her mother is facing her in a hospital bed, getting an ultrasound.
While some children would be happy with the news, it’s not joy Darcey is overwhelmed with in the clip.
Instead, the visibly upset eight-year-old begins to cry uncontrollably.
Kay explained there was a good reason her daughter reacted the way that she did.
After seeing the Disney Christmas advert about a family who stop paying attention to their firstborn after welcoming a new baby, Darcey feared this would happen to her if she got a sibling, resulting in her negative reaction.
Kay said: ‘I was hoping for a happy response from my daughter as she had always asked for a brother or sister, until a few weeks ago when that changed.
‘After she watched the Disney Christmas advert, she point blank said she didn’t want a sibling anymore, so I knew telling her could get a bad response.’
Darcey, who was scared her parents would lose interest in her if they had another child, was completely devastated by the news
In the clip, Darcey can be seen being led into the consultation room by her father as she wears a blindfold on her eyes
But Darcey loves children, and does not normally behave like this, her mother insisted.
‘It did make us laugh though because she’s not normally like this. She is loving and caring, and she’s a mother hen to her younger cousins.
‘Darcey is now coming round to the idea of being a big sister, but only if it’s a girl.’
The eight-year-old began to connect the dots, but was overcome with distress after understanding she was getting a sibling
