A body positive influencer received disturbing threats after admitting to retouching some of her pictures.
Karina Irby shot to fame when she started posting candid bikini snaps to Instagram.
She garnered more than 1.2million followers by showcasing the folds of her tummy and texture on her skin.

Many can relate to the 33-year-old because she's more "real" than the airbrushed models you see in glossy magazines.
But Karina hasn't always been so confident about her natural beauty – and even edited her snaps in the past.
After confessing to feeling insecure at times, the Australian swimwear designer received dozens of cruel comments online.
Karina took to Instagram to speak about the abuse, writing: "Do you want the truth? I’ll give you the truth, knowing some will manipulate, twist and use it against me anyway.
"Have I edited my photos before? Yes.
"Have I talked about this on stories before? Yes.
"Have I felt the pressure to be accepted online? Yes.
"Have I and do I struggle with mild body dysmorphia? Yes.
"Do I get brutalised, picked apart, harassed, bullied and judged online every day? Yes.
"Unless you’ve walked a day in my Crocs you don’t know what it’s like to wake up to endless comments and messages about how fat, disgusting and ugly you are.
"Now add 11 years to that. 4,017 days. 11 years of people giving you their opinion of your body and what it 'should' look like."
Karina listed some of the insults hurled at her in recent years – from fat-shaming to being told her "skin looks like a disease".
One disgusting commenter even said: "Kill yourself, the world will be a prettier place."
The influencer pointed out that the majority of her posts are completely authentic – even if she does have some down days.
She added: "Do I edit EVERY piece of content I post. No.
"Have I drastically morphed my body to look completely unlike my own? No.
"Regardless of my occasional edits my raw, honest, transparent videos show you more than what you need to see of my body…
"Just like you, I have good days and bad days. But every single day I’m getting a little bit stronger, a little bit braver and it’s something that I will continue to work on."
Karina ended the caption by asking commenters to be more "open minded" and "kind".
Her post garnered more than 12,300 likes and plenty of supportive responses.
One Instagram user said: "Sending you so much love! No one ever deserves comments like this."
Another wrote: "You are so loved and cherished. Some people can't help to project how they feel about themselves onto others."
And a third added: "Sending you so much love! You are amazing, never forget."
