Bradley Cooper has given fans a rare glimpse into fatherhood as he co-parents his daughter Lea De Seine with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.

The actor, 48, said he hopes to “unburden” the pair’s six-year-old girl in an upcoming episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge,” shared by People Thursday.

Cooper said the death of his own father, Charles, had a knock-on effect on his parenting style and approach to life.

“I mean you learn from your predecessor’s mistakes and I’ll make tons that hopefully Lea will learn from and then being rigorous with myself to grow,” he told the British adventurer.

“To help unburden her with any of my bulls–t,” he added.

“That’s one of the best things you can do for Lea, isn’t it?” Grylls, 49, asked.

“And for me,” the actor responded, adding, “It’s for me too. It just makes life much better.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Cooper wished his father, who lost his battle with lung cancer in 2011, was still alive today.

“Yeah, I wish my dad was around to enjoy more of it, but we all recognize how lucky we’ve been,” he said.

“It was a blessing though. He gave me a huge gift; he died in my arms. To see that kind of factual example of mortality.”

“Did that change how you look at things?” Grylls asked, to which Cooper responded, “Oh yeah. Some ways for the worst. I definitely had a nihilistic attitude after, for a little bit. Just like, wow I’m gonna die.”

“It was not great for a little bit until I realized I had to just embrace who I actually am and try to find peace with that. And then it sorta evened out,” he added.

Cooper rarely opens up about fatherhood as he tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight.

The actor split from Russian supermodel Shayk, 37, in June 2019, however, the pair remain on good terms and are often seen together with their daughter.

In fact, a source exclusively told Page Six in November that the pair are trying for another baby.
