Britain's most tattooed man looks different these days – and it's not because of a new inking.
King of Inkland King Body Art, formally known as Matthew Whelan, spent years on his incredible tattoo journey.
The 43-year-old splurged over £25,000 on his obsession under the needle with 90% of his body covered.

But recently the Birmingham man took time out from his love as he quit ink to save money and pay off his mortgage.
Now since giving up his lifestyle to clear his £66,000 house bills, King of Inkland decided to change his look (again).
Posting on Instagram, where he boasts over 7,000 followers, the tattoo fan unveiled his dramatic new appearance.
He wrote: "The bald mutant *snake emoji*."
The body modification addict showed off his new hairstyle as he stuck his split tongue out at the camera.
King of Inkland ditched his top to flaunt his colourful inkings all over his chest.
Another upload shows him in the process of trimming his spiky brown hair before fully committing to it.
He added: "Picture one and two hair style #art or just wild insanity? Hooked on the look or #alternative too.
"Easier to maintain shave it off, during recovery time plus not on television again until autumn."
Fans were stunned by his new look as many rushed to the comments section to just share the shocked emoji.

Back in early June, the Brit revealed he was quitting ink to pay off his mortgage over the next four years.
He said: "Getting tattoos can be an addiction.
"However this is a lifestyle for me, which I can start and pause whenever I please.
"I'm taking a break from ink while I concentrate on clearing my mortgage. I'll be slowing down over the next few years.
"I might still get some ink every other year, but with interest rates going up, I hope to be mortgage-free in four years.
"I have a budgeting plan, this means I'll have to limit my lifestyle, but I'll be happy to have it out of the way and done."
