Want to make the most of your annual leave next year?

Well thanks to a new holiday hack, Brits can bag a whopping 48 days off using just 19 days.

It essentially means there will be a total of nine bonus days off next year, what a result!

But if you use your annual leave wisely, you could grant yourself more days out of work with a handy trick.

Here are the exact dates you should take off to get 48 days off next year…

The first break of the year, after New Year's Day in January, could fall around the start of April.

Easter Friday is on April 7 and Easter Monday takes place on April 10.

You could land a 10-day break by taking April 3-6 off from work.

There will be now three bonus days off in May next year, including the celebration of King Charles' Coronation.

The month's traditional bank holidays will fall on May 1 and 29.

And the Coronation bank holiday on May 8, two days after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

To bag 10 days off work at the beginning of the month, take May 2-5 off.

If you fancy a holiday at the end of the month, apply for leave between May 30-June 2 for another nine days off.

You could pocket another nine-day break at the end of August as the summer bank holiday falls on the 28th.

If you fancy that getaway, make sure you apply for annual leave between August 29-September 1.

Then to finish the year on a high, apply for December 27-29 off.
