Ciara poked fun at the haters who criticized her see-through Vanity Fair Oscars party dress on Sunday, posting a hilarious TikTok yesterday of herself draped in a bed sheet titled “POV: How I’m Pulling up to Vanity Fair Next Year.”
The “Level Up” singer, 37, rocked a pair of dark sunglasses and an ivory sheet wrapped around her body, striking a series of poses as audio of photographers calling out her name played over the clip.
The look was a far cry from the daring Dundas dress she sported to the Vanity Fair fête, which she wore with nothing underneath but a pair of pasties and a black G-string.
“Selective outrage,” she captioned the TikTok, adding a crying emoji.
Indeed, Ciara wasn’t the only star rocking a barely-there ‘fit at the annual Oscars party, with everyone from Emily Ratajkowski to Alessandra Ambrosio donning dresses that left little to the imagination.
And while other famous faces — like Hunter Schafer, who wore a single feather to cover her breasts — dared to bare at the event, most of the criticism seemed to hone in on Ciara’s sexy gown.
“Nahhhh that’s not how you represent the King on your arm,” one fan wrote on the “Goodies” singer’s Instagram Reel. “Save that for the single and thirsty chicks.”
“Nothing elegant about this look it’s tacky and screams I NEED ATTENTION,” another commented, while a third Instagram user wrote, in part, “Less is more sis! This is embarrassing for your husband and your children. Have some self respect you’re a wife and a mother.”
After her covered-up TikTok, many fans jumped in to defend the “Like a Boy” singer, who is married to Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.
“Get em Cici… People tripping for no reason. you looked absolutely amazing,” one wrote, while another TikTok user commented, “I know that’s right girl u make the bedsheets look like fashion Queen you go girl.”

Others weighed in on Twitter, noting the hypocrisy of people slamming Ciara while ignoring the other racy red carpet looks.
“Interesting that I haven’t seen men talking about these dresses…” one Twitter user wrote, sharing a collage of four other see-through outfits at the Vanity Fair party.
Haters aside, we can all agree that Ciara looks incredible no matter what she wears … even if it’s a bedsheet.
