We don’t know about you, but we love having a nosy in celebrities’ real lives, whether it’s finding out what's inside their fridge, their wardrobe or their bathroom cabinet.
So we were thrilled when actor Emma Watson shared a look at what she always carries around with her in her handbag – a very practical Prada backpack, to be precise – in a YouTube video for Vogue.
Amongst the items that the Harry Potter star pulls out of her bag – which includes noise-cancelling headphones, a whole bottle of gin and, unsurprisingly, a number of books – is a lip and cheek tint from The Body Shop.
“The thing I really can’t live without is these Body Shop stains,” Emma says, holding the product up to the camera. “I think they actually might have stopped doing them, so I had to buy a bunch of them on eBay because I’m so obsessed with them.”
She’s not wrong; The Body Shop did discontinue these particular multi-purpose tints, but they’ve since been reformulated and relaunched as Sheer Touch Lip & Cheek Tints. Costing £14 and available in five shades, they give a sheer wash of colour that lasts all day.
Infused with aloe vera, these tints feel lightweight and non-sticky on the skin, and can be built up to your desired intensity.
In fact, they’re so useful that Emma says she often only wears this and one other make-up product, an under-eye brightener. “I think probably if I only put these on my face, I can get away with very little,” she says in the video, holding up the two products.
Emma’s beauty favourites also include a Jane Iredale Lip Pencil in the shade Spice, a £15 freckle pen (“I use it in the winter when my freckles go away and I want to bring out the ones on my nose,” says Emma) and a tubing mascara, a product that’s currently going viral on TikTok.
If you’re looking for more celeb beauty favourites, you’ll want to snap up this Kylie Jenner-approved serum that’s currently on sale for £11.
Or how about Molly-Mae’s favourite face powder, which she calls her “holy grail” product?
