It seems there’s no end to the number of young royals inThe Queen’s family at the moment.
While perhaps the most known arePrince George,Princess CharlotteandPrince Louis, there is also a whole host of other youngsters who less is known about.
The Queen currently has 12 great-grandchildren and eight grandchildren so you would be forgiven for missing a name or two out from any list.
One young royal who very few people know about is Prince Michael of Kent's granddaughter who used to attend the same school as Prince George and Princess Charlotte in London.
Maud Elizabeth Daphne Marina Windsor is the daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor and British actress, Sophie Winkleman.
She was born on August 15, 2013, in Los Angeles, California – just a few weeks after her distant cousin Prince George. She was born in the US as that is where her mother was working at the time.
Sophie, 41, who counts Claudia Winkleman as a half-sister, has had starring roles in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Two and a Half Men.
Eight year old Maud is the granddaughter of The Queen’s cousin, Prince Michael of Kent, which makes her the great-granddaughter of Prince George, Duke of Kent and the great-great-granddaughter of King George V.
As the 54th in line to the throne, Maud is named after several of her royal ancestors.
Her first name is after Queen Maud of Norway who was a daughter of King Edward VII and Elizabeth is in honour of the Queen.
Her other middle name, Daphne, is after Sophie’s beloved grandmother and Marina was the name of Lord Frederick’s grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.
Maud has a younger sister named Isabella Alexandra May Windsor and she shares a very close relationship with her royal cousins, Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they go to the same school, Thomas’s London Day School in Battersea.
Maud was pictured next to Princess Charlotte when they both served as bridesmaids atPrincess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018.
The Cambridge family are set to move to Berkshire this summer which will meannew schools for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kate, 40,William, 39, and their children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, seven, and their youngest son, Louis, four, will make the move to the Berkshire estate, which is just a few minutes' walk from St Georges Chapel at Windsor castle.
According to The Times, the couple have been doing their research on locals schools "for the past year."
Editorial director of Talk Education, Teddy Wolstenholme, told the publication: "One pupil at Lambrook was asked by the cheery future king how he’d rate Latin. And when Kate was looking round another school, Papplewick, a pupil told her that she looked just like the Duchess of Cambridge.”
Teddy predicts that the children will go to a school named St Andrew's in Pangbourne. This is where Kate went.
