A DIY enthusiast has shared how she gave her council house kitchen the ultimate makeover on a very tight budget.
The TikToker took shared how she quickly upgraded her kitchen counters with a £6.70 product from The Range.
Showing off the impressive transformation to her account @homeat41, she captioned the video: ‘DC-Fix my sides with me.’
She first showed her kitchen before the makeover, revealing a plain and dark surface top.

The DIY enthusiast took to the site to share how she quickly upgraded her plain and dark kitchen counters without splashing too much cash
Captioning the video ‘DC-Fix my sides with me’ the TikToker shared how the cheap product from The Range could completely transform the space
The crafter then got to work using DC-Fix, a sticky back plastic which can be used to transform surfaces quickly and without forking out for costly replacements.
She carefully cut the material with a craft knife, sticking it against her previously dull countertop.
The final clip showed the woman’s finished kitchen, which had completely transformed into a modern space.
Users flooded the comments in awe of the quick renovation, many asking where she bought the materials from.
The bargain hunter said that she got the DC-Fix, in the colour ‘Ribbeck Oak’, for just £6.70 from The Range.
She bought three rolls of the product, meaning she spent just £20.10 overall for the full transformation.
She described the size of the product as ‘the perfect amount,’ adding ‘I’ve still got quite a bit left too.’
In the before and after video, the woman revealed the modern and bright countertops in the colour ‘Ribbeck Oak’
She completed the space with a vase of Pampas grass and a beige microwave, toaster and kettle which, she said, she found for a bargain

Explaining how she stuck the plastic in place, she said she bought white silicone caulk from Home Bargains and used masking tape on the sides for a neat finish.
She later gushed over her new kitchen space in the comment section. ‘It looks so much better,’ she said .
The woman completed the space with a vase of Pampas grass, and a beige microwave, toaster and kettle, which she said she bought for a steal at Asda.
She also added glass tea, coffee and sugar pots which she said were from B&M and only set her back £8.
Since it was posted, the video has racked up almost 57,000 views and users unanimously commented: ‘Looks amazing,’ and ‘looks fab’.
The TikToker has shared before and after renovations of other rooms in the house, including her garden which fellow followers agreed was the ‘worst part’ of the home to renovation process.
