The video was filmed in Thailand where the influencer is right now.
Making reference to recreational drug-taking, Tom tells viewers: ‘I had a heart attack when I was 22 years old, and since it’s Friday night back in the UK and I know what you lot are doing, this is what a heart attack felt like and how I knew I was having one and what happened to me after.
‘I used to do a lot of carrier bags, and I also worked in a high stress job in the music industry, so when morning when I was 22 years old, I had a heart attack.’

He continued to explain how he knew he was having one: ‘The first thing I felt was a tingling sensation in the back of my wrist, which spread up my arm until my whole arm was kind of numb on the left.
‘Then it spread to my right, and I remember being so uncomfortable. It was like both of my arms were super tight.
‘Then my chest went tight as well. It wasn’t painful but I had this huge pressing fear, which is called in medicine ‘the impending fear of doom’.
Adding ‘It’s a fear like you know you’re going to die. I had that come down on me. I couldn’t lie down, couldn’t stand up, I was thrashing around the place.’
The TikToker called an ambulance, which came and did an ECG, concluding that it wasn’t a heart attack but they wanted to take him to hospital for blood tests to make sure.
He told viewers ‘So I went to Leeds General Infirmary in the ambulance and I had a blood test immediately at A&E.
‘I remember being just sat there by myself in a normal waiting room and someone comes running to me and says ‘Right, come here’.
‘They took me to a room and jabbed a thing into my stomach and that point I was like ‘Jesus Christ, why am I being injected in my stomach?’

‘I get admitted to a ward and later that evening found out that I did have a heart attack, aged 22.’
Reflecting on how he felt at the time, he added ‘It was scary, it was during Covid as well so the one week where I was in hospital recovering, no one was allowed to see me.
‘People from Leeds Uni were putting stuff in their windows because my hospital bed was opposite the uni accommodation, some people were waving from the street outside.’
The video caused panic among some viewers, with one writing ‘I have the worst health anxiety when someone talks about a heart attack and I get all the symptoms.’
Another said ‘Worth mentioning is this can be a panic attack too. Same symptoms, never had a PA in my life then had this 3 times. Defo no heart attack.’
Someone else added ‘Had the same at 18 man, going strong 10 years later’.
