Kayleen Kelly, who has more than nine years of experience, specializes in chronic clutter, ADHD, and mental health.
The 37-year-old, from Jacksonville, Florida, took to TikTok to reveal what real, lived-in homes actually look like.
And her recent video was met with a wave of support from followers who thanked her for allaying their worries.

She revealed what she considers to be normal messes which includes having ‘a donation pile that’s been sitting there for a week’ and keeping ‘food that needs to be thrown away’
In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 82,000 times, Kayleen speaks to camera as she begins: ‘If you struggle with cleaning and chores, this is for you.’

She then reveals what she considers to be normal messes as she lists ‘not making your bed, a messy bathroom [and] living out of the dryer.’
But she does not stop there, adding it is also not unusual to have ‘a donation pile that’s been sitting there for a week’ and ‘food that needs to be thrown away.’
Kayleen then speaks directly to camera once again as she explains: ‘I’ve worked in real homes with real people for nine years.
‘I am telling you, this is normal, this is okay.
‘You’re not doing anything wrong and you’re not alone. Welcome to the club.’
Explaining the situation further, she said: ‘This. Is. Normal.
‘I’m here to highlight what real LIVED IN homes look like.
‘You can have an organized, functional home and still struggle with chores and cleaning.
‘Especially common for us with #adhd and #neurodivergence. It will never be perfect and this shouldn’t be your goal.
‘Focus on FEELING better in your home rather than it LOOKING better.’
