On Sunday,Brooklyn Peltz Beckhammarked his first wedding anniversary and described himself as "the luckiest person on this earth" to be married to wifeNicola Peltz Beckham .
The 24-year-old son of former England footballerDavid Beckhamand former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designerVictoria Beckham, shared the sweet tribute to his 15.1 million Instagram followers over the weekend.
Posting a photo of him dipping his wife before planting a kiss on her lips, Brooklyn wrote: “1 year ago today I married my best friend xx I am the luckiest person to be able to call you my wife x you are my everything and I am the luckiest person on this earth to be able to wake up next to your gorgeous face every morning x”
He continued: “here’s to many more years baby xx I love you so so so much x here’s to having as much fun when we are old as we are now young.”
An insider told The Sun: "The couple have spent the last few days in Tokyo but wanted to gather both families in Palm Beach for a low-key Easter Sunday dinner to commemorate their first year as a married couple."
The pair got engaged in June 2020and, after twice postponing their wedding due to Covid-19, the coupletied the knot in a luxurious ceremonyat the opulent residence of Nicola's billionaire parents in Palm Beach, Florida in 2022.
Nicola also took to social media to commemorate their anniversary by sharing photos from what appeared to be an anniversary celebration. In the first snapshot, Brooklyn and Nicola are captured posing together, with Brooklyn holding a cake that features polaroid pictures of the couple.
She captioned the post: "I can’t believe it’s been a year since I walked down the aisle, I love you so much baby. I love being your wife. I couldn’t imagine my life without you, you are everything I’ve ever dreamt of and I’m so happy I get my life with you.
"Today was so amazing celebrating with our families! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter! (I also surprised my naunni with a rescue puppy and she was so happy!)"
In another photo, the couple is joined by Brooklyn’s power couple parents, who gushed over their son and daughter-in-law, seemingly putting any rumors of a feud between Victoria and Nicola, 28, to rest.
Mum-of-four Victoria captioned the family snapshot, "It's so special to be together to celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary. We love you."
Nicola, dressed in a black crop top and colorful shorts for the event, placed her arm around her mother-in-law Victoria, smiling for the camera.
The actress also posted a heartfelt comment under Victoria's social media post, stating, "Today was so much fun! We love you so much," followed by a series of pink heart emojis.
Brooklyn's siblings, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11, joined in the celebration, as the entire Beckham family enjoyed a trip to the United States over the past few weeks.
