We all know the Beckhams have got heaps of money thanks to their long-standing careers, sponsorship deals and their own businesses, so it’s never a surprise when we see them enjoying the most elaborate of things.
From spending time on their family yacht to zooming around in David’s apparent £3 million car collection, the former footballer has turned heads again.
This time, showing off his cooking skills – which his son Brooklyn has also inherited – inside one of pal Guy Ritchie’s £50,000 WildKitchen BBQ tents.
David and Guy go way back and have been close friends for a long while.
From the ex-England player making his acting debut in King Arthur, one of Guy’s films, to David attending his wedding to Jacqui Ainsley in 2015, the pair even invested £3 million in a London pub back in 2018.
The ex-Manchester United player took to his Instagram stories last night to give his 78.4 million followers a tour of the extravagant set-up, which includes a 12-seater table, a massive grill and of course, a very posh BBQ.
According to the WildKitchen website, it’s the “only luxury outdoor kitchen that delivers the complete Eight Essentials in one artisanal unit, with no smoke or fuss, all within arms reach.”
Apparently, these ‘Eight Essentials’ are a BBQ Grill, a Charcoal and Wood Fired Oven, Dining Table, Cast Iron Cooking Plate, Countertop/Prep Station, WildHalo (a space where you can keep all of your utensils, tools, etc. in one place), Natural Heat Source and a Smoke Free Fire Pit.
Clearly enamoured with the set-up, the 47 year old couldn’t get over the experience and posted a series of snaps hyping up his pal’s business.
“The best fish I’ve ever cooked,” he gushed, as he shared a pic of the massive grill engraved with the businesses name and logo.
David then took a photo from inside the oven, showing fans the meal he was cooking – a massive fish, two chickens and a huge portion of hearty vegetables.
“Unbelievable,” he captioned the snap.
The next pic gave followers a glimpse of the outdoor space and eating area, which followed a very rustic, cabin-style theme.
“Doesn’t get any prettier,” he added, alluding also to the stunning, quaint scenery behind him.
Following the outdoor tour, the dad of four, who reportedly has a great relationship with his kids, took viewers back inside to update them on the cooking progress, which looked unbelievably tasty.
In the shot, the footballer had also added two racks of ribs, portobello mushrooms, tomatoes on the vine and onions.
He then tagged Guy Ritchie in the post, joking: “Am I doing it right?”
While we didn’t get to see the finished product all plated up, (we’re guessing he couldn’t wait to dig in) it looked to be a small family affair, despite the outdoor kitchen claiming to seat 20 people.
