Inside Love Island winners Kai and Sanams glamping trip from zip wires to stunning Welsh views

One month on since winning the Winter edition of Love Island 2023, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have been enjoying their new loved up life by spending some quality time together outside of the villa.

Yet unlike many of our favourite couples in previous years, who have opted for traditional date nights full of fancy dinners and plenty of dancing, Kai and Sanam opted for a far more unique experience as they set off on a Welsh glamping break instead.

Tucked away in the picturesque countryside of North Wales, rolling green heels and stunning natural waters made up the backdrop for their dreamy adventure, which took place right in the heart of Snowdonia.

Staying at Plas Weuyndd, a boutique bed and breakfast, the couple embarked on an adrenaline filled bonding experience, as they visited Llechwedd and Zip World, two exciting attractions that are conveniently located on the same site.

“Our first time glamping, how cute!,” wrote Sanam as she shared a view of the idyllic world beyond her room’s window.

The star then went on to share a second snap which showed another picture perfect slice of Wales, alongside the caption: “What a beautiful view.”

Documenting their adventure on Instagram, both Kai and Sanam could be seen donning their waterproof safety gear as the excitedly prepared for their harnesses to be attached to a zip wire, which soon sent them zooming across the countryside with some impeccable views to boot.

Thanks to the help of a GoPro, fans at home could even see the exact moment the stars took the brave leap to slide down the wire, with both Islanders clearly delighted by the experience!

Sharing the footage online, Kai even cheekily asked if there were any more challenges awaiting him as he stood alongside Sanam at the outdoor adventure activity at Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda.

“Zip world? Completed it mate! Anymore challenges?,” quipped the star, after revealing he and Sanam had just completed ‘Velocity 2’ – one of Zip World’s main attractions which has been the fastest zip line in the world since 2013.

Following the release of their video, Kai and Sanam were met with several comments from impressed fans, including one who wrote: “Wish I had the guts to do something like this … looks amazing … how you are not screaming I’ll never know haha.”

A second added: “A REAL couple doing REAL date things! Like I honestly couldn’t be happier with this year’s winners! REAL PEOPLE.”

Before a third then commented: “Yaaassssss!! Go u 2! Best love island winners Eva!!”

Shortly after being declared the winners of the latest series of Love Island, Kai and Sanam officially announced they had become a bonafide couple, just days after leaving the villa.

In a sweet Instagram post at the time, Kai shared a message to his girlfriend that read: “I have honestly fallen head over heels for her (if you can’t tell) and wanted to keep certain intimate things between us for the first time before we tell the world, just so we can saviour the moment more. This one is a big one for me and I mean this with my full heart. I LOVE YOU TOO SANAM.”
