DEAR DEIDRE: IS it too late to report my ex-boyfriend for rape?
It happened six years ago, but I still think about it all the time.
We dated for three years from the age of 16 and are now both 25.
I know a lot of my friends were losing their virginity, but I decided I wanted to wait. I didn’t feel ready.
During my first year at university, my boyfriend came to visit for the weekend.
A course mate was having a house party and I thought it would be a nice way for him to meet everyone.
When we got back to mine, we were lying on the bed, kissing. He suggested we go all the way, and I agreed.

But a few minutes in, I decided I wasn’t ready, so I asked him to stop. But he wouldn’t.
Even now, whenever I get to the point of being intimate with a guy, I have flashbacks and freeze up.
