Bezos and Sanchez seem to have a long-standing friendship with Wintour. The trio was seen grabbing lunch together in the West Village in 2020. Bezos also attended her coveted annual ball, the Met Gala, in 2019.

In fact, an interaction between the trio back in November 2021 became a viral sensation after Twitter users began circulating a video of a clearly-besotted Sanchez swooning over DiCaprio at the 10th Annual Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art and Film Gala, while her partner Bezos went ignored.
After the clip went viral, Bezos attempted to go mano-e-mano with DiCaprio, calling him out on Twitter, while jokingly threatening to push the actor off a cliff.
