Set before and after World War I, it involves best friends, Austrian intellectual Jules (Samuel Collings) and French bohemian Jim (Alex Mugnaioni) along with Kath (Patricia Allison), the capricious free spirit who comes between them.
Played out with minimal furnishings on a white and Matisse-blue painted set, it is a thoroughly engaging exploration of the complexities of male/female/male relationships across a tumultuous decade and the consequences of an irreconcilably bohemian lifestyle in an era that refuses to accommodate it.
