Kate Gosselin was recently accused of stealing six-figures from her children’s trust funds by her ex, Jon Gosselin. But that’s not stopping the former reality star from seeking $132,000 in back child support she says she’s owed.
According to The Ashley, Kate has filed an “adverse revival,” in hopes of making Jon start payments on an old judgement she won in 2018. At the time, Jon was challenged the back child support, arguing his ex-wife was requesting an “inappropriate amount” of money.
Kate’s move seems in response to allegations Jon recently made accusing her of misappropriating their children’s funds.

The former Kate Plus 8 star admitted in 2019 to withdrawing $50,000 from the trust funds on two separate occasions for “living expenses.” She also said she’d likely need to do the same again in the future.
Kate tried to justify her actions by saying she was owed money from the accounts given all the years she’d paid for private school tuition.
“So, I mean, I’m not looking to collect that but I borrowed $100,000 from the kids’ trust,” she stated, court documents reveal. “And it owes me $387,000 technically.”
However, a judge eventually determined she’d need to repay the money she took, saying there would need to be “evidence of repayments” in the near future, though the timeline is unclear.
Recently, Jon went to the media to accuse Kate of failing to begin making repayments on the money she took from the trust funds. “You can’t just live off your kids’ money,” he said to The Sun. “It makes me feel disgusted.”

He continued, “She has been on TV telling the world she has saved her children’s money when she’s actually been stealing from them-– she’s a hypocrite.”
Jon and Kate were married from 1999 to 2009, and welcomed eight children – a set of twins, and a set of sextuplets. The couple skyrocketed to fame with the release of TLC’s Kate & Jon Plus 8, which Jon’s name was later cut from after he left the show post-divorce.
In addition to money, the exes have been arguing about custody for years. The former couple’s older twin daughters are away at college. While four of the sextuplets still live with their mother, two of them, Hannah and Collin, live with their dad.
Jon says that he knows the money hasn’t been returned to Hannah and Collin’s trust funds, but he can’t speak for his other kids.
