WHILE to us they may be HRH, it seems that the royal family have secret nicknames for one another – and there is none sweeter than Princess Charlotte’s.
Back in 2019, royal fans were convinced that they had heard Kate Middleton let her daughter’s pet name slip during a visit to Windsor Park stadium in Northern Ireland.
A woman who met the couple told the Daily Mail: "I said he is four and she said 'oh, he's the same age as Lottie' — she calls her Lottie!"
It is not the only nickname that the Princess of Wales has for her daughter it seems.
During a shopping trip to The Range back in 2018, a fellow shopper told the Mail that they had overheard Kate telling Charlotte to “get up poppet.”
When it comes to her dad it seems that Princess Charlotte has some what of a more unusual pet name.

In a sweet clip from the family’s visit to the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019, fans were sure they had uncovered Prince William’s French term of endearment for his daughter.
Sending Royal fans into a frenzy, some believe that the royal father-of-three refers to his daughter as "mignonette" which translates as "cute" and "delicate" in French.
When it comes to her pals, Charlotte has yet another secret name.
The only daughter of William and Kate was nicknamed ‘Warrior Princess’ at nursery, due to her ‘feisty’ personality, Katie Nicholl has claimed.

Katie told Entertainment Tonight: “The other nickname that she had when she was at Willcocks Nursery, which was up until just before the summer, was Warrior Princess.
“I'm wondering if that might be a nickname that will stick with her. Apparently she earned that nickname because obviously she is a Princess, but she's quite a tomboy.
“She loves climbing trees and she's very much an adventurer, she was quite known for her feisty personality.”
Princess Charlotte picked up the moniker while she attended Willcocks Nursery, near her home in Kensington Palace, for 18 months.
Of course Charlotte isn't the only member of the family with a nickname.
