Kelly Bensimon hit the sheets hard to drop 10 pounds ahead of her “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” vacation to St. Barts.
The Bravolebrity credited “a lot of sex,” diet changes and, of course, her own wellness book for helping her shed the unwanted weight before swimsuit season.
“I’m 55 — my body started to change after the menopause. I have lost nine inches from working out and dieting. I started out at 145 pounds, now I’m 135 pounds,” she told the Daily Mail in an interview published Tuesday.
Bensimon, who jetted off to the tropical island Monday with her co-stars, said she works out four to five times a week, turning to Equinox, DanceBody and SoulCycle to up her heart rate.
“My body is in the shape it is because I do so many different sports,” she explained. “I also have a lot of sex because that’s a cardio.”
The Douglas Elliman real estate agent has been dating a mystery man for a few months, but she refuses to share his identity. In April 2022, she told Page Six she was dating an “amazing athlete.”
“[He’s] very, very smart, so I feel really blessed to know him, and I’m really excited to see where it goes with him,” she added at the time, further gushing, “He’s very, very talented in sports. I love it. So exciting!”
Prior to her mystery athlete, Bensimon had been rumored to be dating Alex Rodriguez following his split from Jennifer Lopez.
“They have a cute and flirty text relationship,” an insider told us in November 2021. “Alex has asked her out more than once, although she has not gone on a date with him.”

Her rep also confirmed their texting relationship at the time, telling us that Bensimon “thinks [Rodriguez] is charming and a gentleman.”
A-Rod’s rep, however, put the kibosh on anything remotely romantic between the two.
“She reached out on a real estate opportunity, and that is it. There are no flirty texts; there is nothing there,” his rep shared.
“A lot of people reach out to him for business purposes.”
