Kim Kardashian gifts each of her children a four or five-page letter on their birthdays every year.

“It’s so fun to see from the first year now,” she revealed on the latest episode of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast. “One of ’em is almost 10 years old. And I know that they’ll appreciate this.”

The letters, she explained, recap her child’s year and include “who their friends are, silly words they’re saying, their favorite foods, all the silly things they do and a little journey of what the year is like.”

Kardashian, 42, who shares four children with ex-Kanye West, North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, added that it’s satisfying to see the pile grow.

“I know that they’ll appreciate everything, even if they might have thought I was being a little harsh on them,” Kardashian continued. “I know that they’ll get it because I got it with my mom. I know they’ll get it with me.”

That’s not to say it’s been easy for the “KUWTK” alum, who also confessed that parenting has brought her to her knees.

“There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy s–t, this f–king tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?” she told Shetty.

Nevertheless, the “Kardashians” star called it “the most rewarding job in the entire world. It is. There is nothing that can prepare you. I don’t care how long you wait. I don’t care what you’re waiting for. You are never prepared.

“Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn’t be like a more true statement.”

Kardashian admitted that she especially struggled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I mean, there’s nights when you don’t wash your hair for days as a mom and you have spit up all over you and you’re wearing the same pajamas, especially in COVID,” she revealed.

Not everyone was sympathetic to Kardashian’s parenting hardships with many on social media noting that she can afford help and is hardly the stereotype of a single mother.

“Kim has 4 nannies, one assigned to each kid. Motherhood is not hard. Nannies are raising her kids. She needs stop trying to act like she’s middle class,” one critic commented.

“She has Nannie’s [sic] and a lot of support in comparison to the average woman, and yet she still complains,” a second agreed.

“So much fakeness and contrived drama in their lives. Has so much background help from nannies. Yiou [sic] would swear she does it all alone,” another added.
