King impersonator tells This Morning he received the seal of approval from the royal himself (and his name is Charles too!)

A King Charles impersonator revealed he received the royal seal of approval from the King on This Morning on Thursday.
Charles Haslett, 66, from London, spoke to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on This Morning about life impersonating his Royal Highness.
Charles, who has been impersonating the former prince for almost 30 years, admitted he even got to meet the King at his 50th birthday celebration in 1998.
He said: ‘Charles said to me, ”You are here just to get some information for your act aren’t you?”, and I said, “Yes sir”.’
Charles revealed while the then Prince of Wales was on stage addressing the crowd a light came on in the box were he was sitting, impersonating him.
He explained that he first realised he looked like Charles when he was ten and Charles was 17 after his mother’s friend pointed it out.
He said: ‘My mother was with her friend in the kitchen one day and she said “Ooh, doesn’t your Charles look like Prince Charles?”.’
Elsewhere Charles revealed that his impersonations go far beyond the facial expressions and mannerisms as it is also about the clothes.
The impersonator can earn anything from £1,000 upwards for three hours of as the King.
Charles said: ‘When the Queen died, people said ”Oh there must have been a big interest”. But there wasn’t because it went quiet, so I used that time to equip myself to be more King-like, so I bought new suits.
‘The clothing is very important, I bought new suits, I have chosen to get a watch similar to Charles and a ring as well.
‘The articulation of the face, and the hands are very important, the feeling of concern for others and the finger pointing.

King Charles was spotted recently in a similar suit as he stepped out with Camilla for the Easter Mattins Service at St. George’s Chapel

Charles revealed that his impersonations go far beyond the facial expressions and mannerisms as it is also about the clothes
However it is not just the royal that Charles impersonates because he also creates comedic situations involving Manuel from Fawlty Towers and Inspector Clouseau from Peter Sellers.
The coronation of Charles will take place at Westminster Abbey on May 6th, the start of a long bank holiday weekend in Britain.
Having ascended to the throne in September 2022, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Charles will be officially crowned as the reigning monarch.
It will be the first coronation of a British monarch in over half a century, after the late Queen enjoyed a 70-year reign atop the throne following her coronation.
This was the longest reign by a British monarch and history, with Queen Elizabeth II also recording the longest-ever verified reign of any female monarch.
