Two weeks on since welcoming her first child, a son named Luai into the world, Lindsay Lohan has delighted fans by showcasing her postpartum figure on social media.
The stunning redhead revealed she had given birth in a statement on July 17th confirming the safe arrival of her adorable little one, with husband Bader Shammas.
Although the exact date of the birth still remains a mystery, both mum and baby were said to be doing well, with the precious little one, whose name means 'shield or protector' in Arabic, clearly bringing a great deal of joy and love into his parents' lives.
Showcasing the body which helped to bring a new life into the world, Lindsay showed off her physique while modelling a postpartum underwear set by brand FridaMom, which showed off her waist while adding a chic colour palette of mint green and grey to her wardrobe.
Alongside the image, Lindsay told her fans: “I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery. Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!”
She then continued: “OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
Fans at home were loving the realness of the post, with many praising Lindsay for showing off her body in all it’s natural glory after the hard work of carrying a little one to term for nine months.
“I'm sure the child will have the best parents in the world, Lindsay. I'm sure they will be better parents than the ones they had. Congratulations,” wrote one follower.
Another fan also commented adding: “You've come a long way! Be proud of yourself. You're beautiful. Being a mom changes your world and your heart.”
Before a third weighed in and added: “She is THRIVINGGGG. It really is true now, “clear as crystal , sharp as a knife, she is in the prime of her life”
Several more fans also couldn’t help but notice the subtle Mean Girls reference in her post either, as she recreated her own spin on the iconic line said by Amy Poehler in the film: “I’m not a regular mom. I’m a cool mom.”
Film fans couldn’t hide their joy at the nod to her famous work, with one even penning: “Love the mean girls reference! Iconic.”
A second fan also agreed adding: “On Wednesdays we wear @fridamom ”
While a third commented: "This caption. You go mama coco, you go!”
