Soon after bombshell Leah Taylor entered the Love Island villa on Monday night Molly Marsh revealed that she already knew her.
The new arrivals sent shockwaves through the villa as the boys were chosen for dates and the girls eagerly watched on from the balcony to spy on their new competition.
Molly was one of the Islanders who was left feeling a little frantic after the arrival of Leah and fellow bombshell Charlotte Sumner as Mitchel Taylor and Zachariah Noble were both chosen for dates.
As the new Islander got to know the boys Molly peered through the balcony rails in an attempt to listen in to their conversations and gauge what was happening.
She soon realised that the new bombshell, Leah was in fact one of her "friends" from home. While voicing the realisation of knowing Leah she added "she has changed her hair".
It turns out the pair are both from Manchester, follow each other on Instagram and have a number of mutual friends, including a few famous ones. Before entering the villa Leah gushed that she's best pals with one of the most iconic islanders ever, Maura Higgins who also knows Molly.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to find out for themselves if Leah and Molly are actually friends on the outside. One said: "Am I the only one who went to go check if Molly follows Leah on insta? COS THEY DOOOOOO so they are mates oh dear'".
A second added: "Molly and Leah follow each other on Instagram".
"Wait! Leah and Molly are actual friends from outside and she doesn't even care. Wild!', commented another fan.
While one other said: "Molly says she knows Leah, and that's her friend. Girl, that ain't your friend when she come to take your man."
On Molly's Instagram, she has also been spotted spending time with Olivia Attwood and Molly-Mae Hague. Leah arrived in the villa during Monday night's episode and donned a short black satin dress while her long ombre hair was styled down in loose waves.
But before arriving in the villa, Leah looked almost unrecognisable as she had dark brunette hair, different from her blond and lighter ombre look now. While her hair remains long in length the change in colour is a significant change – which explains why Molly quickly commented on her pal's hair.
Instead, Leah now has a variety of blonde streaks running through her hair which also frames the front of her face, a possible change in look especially for the summer series of Love Island. While it's not the most drastic change, it's a vast difference from the dark brunette hair she donned before.
