MCDONALD'S could make a big change to menus as part of a huge shake-up involving job cuts.
The restaurant giant could streamline its menus globally as part of its restructuring drive.
It comes as The Wall Street Journal reports that McDonald's has temporarily shut all US Offices as it prepares to issue layoff notices.
The Chicago-based fast-food chain said in an internal email last week to US employees and some international staff that they should work from home from Monday through Wednesday so it can deliver staffing decisions virtually.
"During the week of April 3, we will communicate key decisions related to roles and staffing levels across the organization," the company said in the message viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
In January McDonald's said that it planned to make "difficult" decisions about changes to its corporate staffing levels by April, as part of a broader strategic plan for the burger chain.
