McDonald’s is offering two menu favourites for a reduced price in its outlets across the UK – but diners will have to order quickly to snap up a bargain as the offer is only available today.
The fast food giant will be selling its Breakfast Roll for £1.19 this morning – a 60 per cent saving on the usual price (£2.89).
It features back bacon, a sausage patty, cheese and an egg all in white roll, with the choice of either brown sauce or ketchup.
Then, from 11am, diners can pick up a McPlant for £1.39, a saving of 70 per cent on the burger’s standard menu price (£3.39).
The vegan option features a plant-based patty alongside all the other trimmings, including sauce, dairy-free cheese, tomato, lettuce, and onion, in a classic McDonald’s sesame seed bun.
McDonald’s fans can pick up two bargains in outlets across the UK today, using the fast food chain’s app
Customers should note that the reduced prices are available exclusively via the McDonald’s App.
Using the app, diners can opt into the MyMcDonald’s Rewards scheme.
This means that for each purchase, they can earn points, with one penny spent being rewarded with one point.
So buying the McPlant today at the discounted price of the £1.39 would bag 139 points.
When users hit certain points milestones, they will be offered rewards.
When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, or a Side Salad.
With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger or Vegetable Deluxe are up for grabs.
Finally, with 4,000 points, customers can choose between further menu favourites including six Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.

Those wanting to donate the rewards will also be offered an opportunity for doing so.
They can donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
According to McDonald’s, the donations will be used to ‘support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, alongside reducing food poverty and waste in the UK’.
To take advantage of today’s deals, and to start earning points, customers can download the app via Google Play or the Apple App Store here. Then, they should sign up and opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5am-11am, and McDonald’s lunchtime menu is available from 11am daily.
