Most of us remember having dolls growing up – whether it be a Barbie, Cindy or an old rag doll that was passed down from the generations before you.
But one social media star is hoping to change the game completely when it comes to dolls, as she wants to rid the image of the stereotypically thin female doll with streamline arms and legs.
Lissa Aires, who boasts over 2million followers on Instagram, is determined to transform this stereotyped image.
Even though some dolls have evolved over the years, she thinks there are still lots of dolls that haven't altered that much.
So, in attempt to promote the body positive movement, influencer Lissa Aires wants to create a line of plus size dolls that come complete with cellulite.
She said: “As much as we see different types of dolls today, we still don't have the ones that are real.
"They always create new dolls, but not a plus size one with cellulite.
"It's okay that they are toys for children, but they need to know that there is cellulite in women.
"I always played with skinny and perfect dolls, and that ended up causing deep scars on me."
She added: "I think it is important to have this representation.
"They have already evolved a lot by placing different types of women, but they need to evolve more.
"And putting dolls with cellulite, dolls running away from the thin body, with stretch marks and marks, because this is the real woman, that's who we are.
"They need to understand even more the importance of inclusion."
The influencer is known for being an advocate of the body positive movement, and gets much praise on Instagram for sharing her body positive photos.
She recently shared a few bikini snaps on the social media platform, and captioned the post: "You with all those curves, and me without no breaks."
Many people praised Lissa for showing off her fuller figure in all its glory, as well as the natural lumps and bumps that the true female figure embodies.
The snaps have attracted over 9,000 likes, and dozens of comments.
One person said: "You look beautiful", while another commented: "I love this – your posts are always amazing."
A third added: "Very beautiful."
