A woman has recalled the mortifying moment a stripper rocked up to her Barbie-themed 5th birthday – after accidentally being booked by her mum.
Julia, who posts online under the username @joolia_go0lia, has been a fan of the iconic blonde doll all her life.
In fact, she was so obsessed with the Mattel toy as a child that her mum planned a Barbie-themed birthday bash for her when she turned five.

But not everything went according to plan after her mum realised she had accidentally hired an adult entertainer for the event.
In a video, which has gained more than 191,000 likes, Julie explained: "My parents hired an adult entertainer for my 5th birthday party by accident."
She explained that her mother had flicked through the phonebook to find an entertainer who would dress up as Barbie for the event.
But when the woman, named Barbie, “showed up" she was actually "a stripper".
Thankfully, the woman didn't get her kit off in front of the kids and simply adapted her performance to be suitable for the audience once she realised the mum's mistake.
"She did not take off her clothes," Julie recalled.
"I followed her around thrilled that Barbie came to my birthday party. And all of the parents there had a really good laugh."

TikTok viewers soon took to the comments in stitches over the error — with some even relating to it.
One user said: "My mum accidentally ordered the spice channel in place of a Spice Girls concert on pay-per-view once."
Another commented: "This happened to my parents but with a bunny for an April birthday. It was amazing."
A third added: "Probably one of the best parties she’s been to! Free cake and no drunks!"
