DEAR DEIDRE: MY daughter is just like her dad and I’m finding it so hard to cope with her.
I’m 24 and I got together with a guy of 27 who had autism, ADHD and sensory problems.
We split up during my pregnancy and now I’m a single mum.
My daughter is five and can be lovely but she’s showing signs of autism and ADHD too.
She frequently has meltdowns.
She’s recently had a sensory processing disorder diagnosis.
She finds her clothes itchy and she’ll gag on certain foods.
I never know whether she’s going to eat or throw her plate across the room.

She’s so difficult. She’s OK at school but hard at home.
I feel like a failure as a mum.
