Nando’s is giving customers a chance to get double points this week.
From today until November 18, the peri peri restaurant is giving fans the chance to get double the loyalty points when they spend £7 or more each day.
The loyalty scheme runs all year round and typically the restaurant gives customers one ‘Chilli’ each time they spend £7 or more.
‘Chillies’ are the equivalent of loyalty points and you collect them each time you eat at Nando’s.
Chillies can then be traded in for rewards which can later be cashed in to get free food.
Nando’s is shaking up its loyalty scheme this week, meaning customers can get their hands on free food faster with ‘double Chillies’
New customers will bag a bonus Chilli when they sign up, which means you only need to place one more order during the promotion period to bank your first reward.
Once you start collecting, the rewards are categorised into three colours: green, orange and red.
With green rewards, (three chillies) customers can get a free quarter chicken, three wings or a starter.
While with orange rewards, which are awarded after six chillies, customers can get a free half chicken, a single burger, pitta or wrap.
The biggest reward is six chillies, or a red reward, where customers can get a free whole chicken, a meal with regular sides or a salad or bowl
By purchasing two meals that are worth £7 or more on two separate trips, you will be able to claim a free half chicken, single burger or pitta or wrap – this is normally priced at £8.95.
If you’re a Nando’s regular, you could even try to build up enough Chillies for a free whole chicken meal with regular sides or a salad or bowl – you would need to buy three meals on three separate trips.
The double Chillies promotion comes just after the chicken chain made a major change to it’s sauce offerings, leaving fans divided.
For just one week, the peri-peri restaurant is doubling the amount of Chillies customers get, so for every £7 you spend, you will get two instead of one
Until now, customers at Britain’s favourite peri peri chain have had to grab a bottle of their favourite sauce and take it to their table.
But now some locations are offering a sauce pump, meaning customers can fill up a small tub of sauce to add to their chicken – and choose from a plethora of flavours.
They currently have the new pumps in the following locations, all in the south of England: Waterloo, Battersea Power Station, Cheshunt Retail Park and Greenford.
It’s believed that Nando’s has plans to introduce the sauce pumps to more stores in the future.
