Tissues at the ready Neighbours fans! It’s time to say goodbye to another Erinsborough favourite next week, as Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) bows out.
Harlow, as viewers know, has been struggling to come to terms with recent events, after Corey Smythe-Jones (Laurence Boxhall) turned out to be a member of cult The Order.
Corey was tasked with recruiting Harlow, and he succeeded in gaining her trust, cutting her off from her family and isolating her from all those around her in a bid to make her rely solely on him.
To make matters worse, he began drugging Harlow, and convinced her to leave Ramsay Street with him for a holiday, on which he proceeded to drug her some more.
Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts), however, worked out his sick plot, and proved instrumental in freeing Harlow, who soon came to realise just what her so-called mate Corey was up to.
Corey attempted to retrieve Harlow in a tense showdown involving a crowbar, but when that backfired, he went on the run, evading justice.
Harlow, meanwhile, has devised a plan to track down the crazed cult member, after she discovered that he’d been tracking her phone.
This week, her plan succeeds, as Corey makes contact, and despite Andrew (Lloyd Will) insisting they pull the plug, Harlow arranges a meeting with her former captor.
Next week, Corey is apprehended at last, after a stand-off with Zara Zellwyn (Freya Van Dyke). The cult leader refuses to talk, however, unless he speaks to Harlow.
Harlow therefore finally gets the answers she was looking for, and in the process, closes this disturbing chapter of her life once and for all.
Despite this, however, she struggles to stop thinking about her aunt Harriet’s (Amanda Holden) offer to come and live with her in London.
She has a heart-to-heart with Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) in the wake of a tragic event, and Mack makes it clear she doesn’t want to be the reason Harlow stays put.
Harlow therefore decides to take up Harriet’s offer, and thus starts packing for London. For good.
Her decision stuns Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), and the two share an emotional goodbye.
Afterwards, she shares a bittersweet goodbye with all of her nearest and dearest, before leaving Erinsborough once and for all.
