Looking roar-some! Beaming Queen Camilla dons green leopard print dress as she joins Dame Judi Dench at Braemar Literary Festival

Queen Camilla showcased her fashion prowess in a statement leopard print dress as she attended the Braemar Literary Festival last night.
The King’s wife, 76, put on a stylish display in the emerald patterned frock when attending the dinner at the The Fife Arms hotel in the Scottish Highlands.
She was joined by British actress Dame Judi Dench, 88, as well as bestselling authors William Boyd and Anthony Horowitz and critic Grace Dent.
The three-day festival – which is running until Sunday – is being held in the Highland village in collaboration with The Queen’s Reading Room, the book club founded by Camilla.
First launched in January 2021, the online literary hub was inspired by the success of the then Duchess of Cornwall’s reading lists shared during the pandemic in 2020. It offers book recommendations and exclusive insight from the authors themselves.

Camilla appeared in her element as she chatted to guests last night – including photographer, filmmaker and author Mary McCartney and Literary Editor of the Spectator Sam Leith.
Her Majesty was also present at one of the festival’s sold-out events held earlier today, ‘The Allure of Comfort food to soothe and satisfy. Grace Dent and Rick Stein in conversation with Tom Parker Bowles’.
The panel – which included her British food critic son Tom – held a discussion on the joy of comfort food and home cooking.
Over the course of the three-day event, novelists, historians, artists, chefs, and actors will descend on the village of Braemar to honour the power and quiet beauty of the written and spoken word.
Connecting bookworms of all ages with heartfelt readings from the authors who penned the words, the Braemar Literary Festival, aims to ‘provide a forum to engage in spirited discussion’.
Camilla’s outing comes after Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett OBE revealed what it is like to cook for the Queen, after serving dinner at the first ever Braemar Literary Festival last October.

The 55-year-old, who is one of Britain’s only female Michelin star chefs, told The Mirror that Camilla is ‘really relaxed and easy-going’, and she said it was great to cook for the royal.
When it comes to what meal is ‘fit for a Queen’, Angela replied: ‘Anything and everything.’
She revealed that Camilla was ‘was like every other guest [she’s] ever cooked for’, saying ‘whatever is made for her, she’ll eat’.
Angela added: ‘I think when you get to a certain age, without being rude, of course, and you’re as busy as she is with so many engagements, you’ll eat whatever is simple and easy.’
