Queen Máxima of the Netherlands glowed in gold on Wednesday night as she joined her husband King Willem-Alexander to host the Diplomatic Corps Gala at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.

Radiant as ever, the Dutch queen sported a recycled royal blue and gold two-piece by Danish couturier Claes Iversen, who also lives in the Netherlands.

Made up of an off-the-shoulder top and voluminous skirt, both in satin and lace, the 52-year-old’s outfit was the perfect choice for an evening of pageantry at the palace.

Her Majesty first wore the piece to King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway’s 80th birthday celebrations in May 2017.

Leaving no piece untouched, Maxima’s jewellery was equally striking, with a Dutch Sapphire Necklace Tiara she wore on her head and matching drop earrings taking centre stage.
