Sasha Obama was spotted in Los Angeles on Monday, more than a week after her family’s private chef, Tafari Campbell, tragically drowned in Martha’s Vineyard.

The 22-year-old, who recently graduated from the University of Southern California, was seen carrying her car keys and a large brown handbag with studded hardware at an EVgo electric vehicle charging station.

Sasha beat the summer heat in a flowy patchwork dress that skimmed her ankles, which she paired with black flip-flops and plenty of jewelry, including bracelets stacked on both of her wrists.

Barack and Michelle Obama’s youngest daughter also wore dangly silver earrings, rings on most of her fingers, and a black cord necklace with a large silver sun pendant around her neck.

Sasha’s long dark hair was braided with loose ends and down around her shoulders with tendrils framing her face.

The former first daughter ensured she stayed hydrated with an insulated Hydro Flask bottle, which she likely had stored in her oversize bag.

Sasha and her 25-year-old sister, Malia Obama, were seen flying off of Martha’s Vineyard last Tuesday, a few days after Campbell’s death on July 23.

Massachusetts State Police confirmed that the family’s private chef and close friend lost his balance and fell in the water while paddleboarding on Edgartown’s Great Pond beside the former president’s $12 million estate on the island.

A female staff member of Obama’s had been with Campbell when he drowned, DailyMail.com learned.

The woman, who was on a separate paddleboard, had tried in vain to reach Campbell after he had fallen off but was ultimately forced to return to shore to summon help.

It was a Secret Service agent who then phoned emergency services from the Obama compound in Edgartown to report the incident, sources told DailyMail.com.

The witness was lucid and clear, exhibiting no signs of intoxication when she spoke with police at the scene, according to insiders.

The outing comes more than a week after her family’s private chef, Tafari Campbell, tragically drowned in Martha’s Vineyard on July 23

The initial call came in at 7:46 p.m., when police and fire agencies responded to the report that Campbell had fallen off his paddleboard, briefly struggled to stay afloat, and then went under the water.

The multi-agency search continued into the night, with fire companies from across the island descending on Edgartown’s Great Pond with boats and divers, along with Massachusetts state police, the Dukes County Sheriff’s Department, and the Coast Guard.

The witness directed rescuers to one area where Campbell was thought to have gone under.

Crews diligently searched the location that night but did not find a body. Authorities also searched properties around the pond, in hopes Campbell had possibly made it to shore.

Campbell was located around 10 a.m. the next morning by Massachusetts Environmental Police officers deploying side-scan sonar from a boat.

The water was just eight feet deep where Campbell was found. Police said he was not wearing a life preserver and was not leashed to his board.

He did, however, know how to swim, as evidenced by a video he had posted on social media of himself swimming laps.

Sasha also carried her cellphone, a water bottle, and her car keys, which had small stuffed animals attached

An autopsy revealed he had no external trauma or injuries, police said Wednesday. Toxicology testing is pending.

The Obamas’ office confirmed that the former first couple was not at home when Campbell drowned on Sunday evening.

Their daughters were also on the island, but it’s unclear if they were on the property at the time or out for the night.

The Obamas paid tribute to the chef, who worked for them for 14 years and leaves behind his wife, Sherise, and 19-year-old twin sons.

‘Tafari was a beloved part of our family,’ the couple said.

‘When we first met him, he was a talented sous chef at the White House — creative and passionate about food, and its ability to bring people together. In the years that followed, we got to know him as a warm, fun, extraordinarily kind person who made all of our lives a little brighter.’

‘That’s why, when we were getting ready to leave the White House, we asked Tafari to stay with us, and he generously agreed. He’s been part of our lives ever since, and our hearts are broken that he’s gone.’
