Shoppers are going wild for 'absolutely beautiful' new treat based on iconic 90s childhood dessert | The Sun

SHOPPERS are taking a trip back to their childhood after spotting a delicious sweet treat based on an iconic 90s dessert on supermarket shelves.

Morrisons has started selling Angel Delight ice cream tubs, in two classic flavours, strawberry and butterscotch.

The soft-serve style ice cream is inspired by the nostalgic airy texture of the original 1967 dessert which captured the hearts of many.

The delightful tubs hold 800 ml of ice cream and it’s advised you wait a few minutes before pulling out the freezer for the best flavour.

One surprised customer rushed to Facebook to let others know the new desserts were on supermarket shelves.

In the Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK group, she said: “New at Morrison.”
