Queen Elizabeth II's funeral is set to take place on Monday 19 September and a number of businesses across the UK will be closing during the service.
Her Majesty passed away age 96 at Balmoral Castle on Thursday 8 September and the Royal Family released a statement on 10 September announcing the plans for her upcoming state funeral.
The service will take place at Westminster Abbey on 19 September, and King Charles III, 73, also confirmed that the day will be a national bank holiday.
While it is entirely down to employers whether staff are given the day off or not, schools and colleges across the UK will be closed on the day of Her Majesty's funeral, along with many businesses.
Shops and services will not be obliged to close on the day of the Queen's funeral, however some may opt to shut as a mark of respect for the late monarch.
The government advised: "Some businesses may wish to consider closing or postponing events, especially on the day of the State Funeral, however, this is at the discretion of individual businesses."
Certain leading retailers and major supermarkets are in the process of finalising plans for the day of the funeral, including Sainsbury's, Asda and Waitrose.
These retailers, along with Tesco and Morrisons, are reportedly planning to close for around four hours as a mark of respect, sources have told The Sun.

Large supermarkets will reportedly shut from 10am until 2pm in order to allow staff to watch Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
Meanwhile, John Lewis will be closing all of its 34 department stores but will be keeping 10 food shops open along the funeral route.
Marks and Spencer are said to still be finalising plans for 19 September, but stores are set to close with mixed food and clothing branches opening with reduced hours.
High street favourite Primark has confirmed that all 191 of its stores will be closed on the day of Her Majesty's funeral.
Other services which have announced closures including the Royal Opera House and National Gallery.
Westminster Abbey will be closed for visiting from Tuesday 13 September as preparations for the Queen's funeral get underway.
Her Majesty's state funeral will be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, with the Royal Family, politicans and heads of state from across the globe all in attendance.
The funeral will be broadcast live on television, radio and online.
