The entries for the iPhone Photography Awards show there’s so much photographic power tucked away in our pockets.
This year’s winners, for the sixteenth annual competition, have been revealed and the images will leave you mesmirised.
Ivan Silva was crowned as the grand prize winner for his shot of a football fan in Mexico.
While Thea Mihu from Germany won a top award for Soy Sauce Village, taken in the Hung Yen province of Vietnam, Likewise, Barry Mayes from the UK came third in the portrait category with a photograph taken on an iPhone 7.
Awards for 14 categories – including animals, abstract and architecture – were given to entrants from all over the world.
Viewers can enjoy snaps of majestic Norway, stunning light displays and awe-inspiring National Parks – enough to make you want to reach for your phone and get snapping.
