An Only Fans model has claimed her ‘head exploded’ mid-flight from air pressure after she had cosmetic surgery.

Weronika, who lives in Exeter in Devon, was travelling back from Turkey post ‘cat eye’ surgery abroad when she heard an ‘audible pop’ behind her ear which was her stitches ‘ripping open’ due to the cabin pressure.

The Polish native took to her TikTok @polish_99 to reveal what had happened in a video which racked up over 6 million views.

She captioned the clip: ‘Point of view: you’re the flight attendant that I’ve just had to inform the back of my head exploded from the pressure.’

Still not over how gross it was

She appeared in the clip with purple bruising under her eyes and a black head brace on which she captioned: ‘Still not over how gross it was.’

Users were baffled by Weronika’s shocking experience and asked her to share more details on what happened.

In the comments section she wrote: ‘Guys, it’s obviously about stitches ripping on the plane.

‘Obviously my brains didn’t blow out.’

The social media star went onto explain what had happened and why she was allowed to fly after surgery in a series of tell-all videos (pictured before the procedure)

The social media star went onto explain what had happened and why she was allowed to fly after surgery in a series of tell-all videos.

She said she had undergone ‘cat eye’ surgery – a treatment that modifies the shape and size of the eyes.

The TikToker also explained she had had a ‘neck lift’ procedure done while in Turkey.

The beauty admitted she has previously used the same surgeon for a Brazilian Butt Lift.

She explained: ‘No one made any mistakes; the original surgeon, or the airport doctor at the hospital. Everything was fine when I got on the plane.

‘I have unusually soft tissue and swell more than the average person which led to some of the stitches coming open on the plane in one tiny area’.

In the comments section, she explained how her stitches had ripped open during the flight behind her ear

Weronika revealed that prior to her flight she had arranged a final consultation with her surgeon and he was pleased with her recovery process so far and agreed to give her a fit to fly certificate.

Unfortunately, her surgeon had forgotten to give her a printed copy of the certificate so she had to visit a different doctor at the airport.

Her doctor even gave her the go-ahead via WhatsApp to board the plane.

However during the flight Weronika realised that the incision behind her ear had shockingly ‘ripped’ open leaving her with severe pain and blood pouring from the back of her head.

In another clip, she explained: ‘I have unusually soft tissue and swell more than the average person which led to some of the stitches coming open on the plane in one tiny area.’

Fans were quick to rush to the comments section to send their best wishes to the social media star

‘We were on the plane, everything’s chill, we’d gone to sleep because we’d been travelling since 2am and I wake up and I’m in a lot of pain.

‘I can feel pain all around [behind my left ear], like my actual ear was in pain as well and I was like, ‘How is that possible? I can’t even feel my ears yet’.

‘Everything was really hurting, I got up, went to the toilet and I heard this audible pop.’

She continued: ‘Immediately after I felt this hot liquid [blood] dripping down my neck and I grabbed some towels and started wiping it up’.

She captioned her final video with the update: ‘Long story short I ended up with a infected oozing hole behind my ear but it’s clearing up now and it’s all good I just have to be careful before it shuts’.

Weronika kept pressure on the wound until her flight landed and she got the help of her mother, who is a dentist, to put the staples back in and close the wound.

Fans were quick to rush to the comments to send their best wishes to the social media star.

One person wrote: ‘That sounds scary hope you’re OK’ while another said: ‘Your so brave that’s so traumatic.’

WFH blamed for rise in botched boob jobs

Working from home may be to blame for a rise in Britons being left botched from cheap cosmetic surgery abroad, experts say.

Eighty-two patients needed follow-up NHS treatment last year after going overseas for boob jobs, tummy tucks and other procedures.

This was up 44 per cent on the year before, when the pandemic first kicked off and foreign holidays were effectively scrapped for staycations.

The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), which uncovered the figures, is calling for No10 to crackdown on foreign surgery.

It wants ministers to make travel insurance compulsory for anyone who chooses to undergo trips for cosmetic procedures.

The BAAPS claimed the surge in demand for cosmetic surgery is down to the lack of local surgery available and ‘enticement’ of cheap foreign deals.

It also blamed the uptick on the so-called ‘Zoom Boom’ — the demand for aesthetic procedures driven by increased awareness of one’s appearance on screen.

Throughout the pandemic, surgeons noted more patients citing their appearance on video calls as reasons for their dissatisfaction with their bodies.

Noses and wrinkles seemed to be the most common complaints generated by the phenomenon, dubbed ‘Zoom Dysmorphia’.

Experts say video calls can distort people’s appearance from how they really look — creating the illusion of a wider face and a broader nose.
