Top 50 restaurants in the world revealed: Top spot is clinched by a restaurant in a Danish FOOTBALL STADIUM while just two UK eateries make the list
- Geranium in Copenhagen has been named the best restaurant in the world
- The list, compiled by Condé Nast Traveller, features two London restaurants
- Spain is the food capital of the world with six restaurants making the top 50
A bistro in Denmark has topped the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world – despite feeding guests from an unusual location.
Geranium, which sits on the eighth floor of National Football Stadium, Parken, in Copenhagen, allows diners to look over the pitch while they eat.
Although the restaurant is currently taking a break from service for the summer, diners will be able to taste its Summer Universe menu for around £366 (DKK3200).
Despite its unusual setting the bistro, headed by Rasmus Kofoed, has clinched the top spot in the list of the Top 50 Restaurants in the World for 2022.
