A TREASURED bakery is closing after more than 90 years and fans have said they'll miss the "best biscuits ever".
Vanes the Bakers in Dover, Kent, has announced it will shut its doors in the coming months.
The independent retailer, described as a "real treasure", will shut after its owner, Jeff Vane, said he was planning to retire.
In a recent post on the bakery's Facebook page, he said: "It's time to tell you that Vanes the family bakers will start to wind down to an eventual close in the coming months.
"Vanes the Bakers has had four generations of family bakers and been in business for more than 90 years."
He added: "This has been a very big decision taken over a period of time, but as I approach retirement age and find myself in the new role of granddad, I feel it is time to start winding down the business to an eventual close."
