Shoppers have discovered a genius gadget that can solve Christmas Day battery woes and change AAAs into AAs to save you an emergency trip to the supermarket.
Home hacks guru Gabby has started using Adaptor Cell Battery Box Protectors from Amazon which are plastic cases that go over AAA batteries so they work in gadgets that require AAs.
The lifestyle blogger said it was the ‘best’ buy she’s ever found for Christmas and a ten-pack only costs $14 on from the online mega-retailer.
Triple-A batteries can be slipped into the plastic casings which have metal contacts at the top and bottom making them then work as double-As.
They can also be using as protective casings to store AAA batteries to keep them dry when storing.
