Two neighbouring homes could be yours for just £129k – but wait until you see inside | The Sun

TWO neighbouring homes could be yours for just £129,000 – but wait until you see inside.

The Welsh cottages have hit the market as part of a buy-one-get-one-free deal.

But, like some good deals, it comes with a catch.

The homes, which have been connected to create one big property, are scattered with rubbish and unusable furniture – both inside, and out.

They have holes in the floors and ceilings throughout, as well as peeling wallpaper and ripped up carpet and vinyl.

And while the cottages are uninhabitable, their price tag of £129,000 could make them a steal for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands (very) dirty.

The first cottage layout is made up of an entrance porch, living and dining room, kitchen and two bedrooms.

In the living room, the original fireplace remains intact but is surrounded by damp-looking floors and walls.

The kitchen is coated in grime and trash and has half its floor torn up, but its size does lend itself to a good renovation project.

The second property doesn't look much different, but it does have a bathroom listed.

It also has an entrance porch, hallway, living room, dining room, kitchen and upstairs landing, along with two bedrooms.

Both properties boast gardens at the front and back – which, like much of the home, will need a tidy up.

Sage & Co Auctions, which listed the homes, has described the cottages as “in need of full renovation” and said they “require extensive works”.

The RightMove listing says: "These properties would be ideal for those looking to renovate and re-sell or for residential investment."

Bidding will open on October 31, both with a guide price of £129,000.

It comes just days after another house hit the market for a mere £20,000.

But, prospective buyers were warned it will need some serious work to get it up to scratch.

Another flat with "strong potential" also recently hit the market.
