A Los Angeles wellness influencer has shocked her 147,000 TikTok followers by revealing how she dramatically slimmed down her ‘puffy face’ – without using beauty tools or getting surgery.
In a recent video, Kaylin Mally, 22, showed off her sculpted facial features, before admitting that she ‘didn’t always look like this’ – and showing off an old photo in which she looked unrecognizable.
Explaining exactly how she slimmed down her face, Kaylin insisted that her transformation wasn’t the result of a cosmetic procedure – or even a strict beauty regimen – claiming that the key to her overhauled looks was reducing her stress levels.
Kaylin responded to a commenter asking how she lost the ‘puffiness’ in her face and wrote: ‘Stress will do more than you could ever imagine!’

‘I always see questions about how I got rid of the puffiness in my face. And no, I did not get surgery, it wasn’t gua sha,’ Kaylin, who runs an online membership group called The Highest Self Hotties, which helps women ‘glow up,’ proclaimed.
‘The main thing that changed from then to now is my hormones,’ Kaylin explained, adding that stress and her hormones ’caused so much inflammation’ in her body.
Kaylin said she used to be puffy everywhere, even in her legs and arms, because she was holding onto ‘so much water weight’ and stress.
‘There is literally negative energy pouring off of my body,’ Kaylin said while showing an old photo of herself during a night out in a little black dress.
The wellness influencer explained that at the time she was ‘eating nothing,’ and her ‘body and mind were just so stressed out.’
She thinks the biggest problem is that people think of stress as ‘an emotion and not an actual thing that’s happening within our bodies.’
‘Your body simply does not know the difference between mental and physical stress. So when your body is stressed out, it’s in this fight or flight mode, which means it’s gonna be holding onto extra stuff in order to make it feel safe,’ Kaylin claimed.

The content creator, who focuses on ‘becoming a better u (sic),’ according to her TikTok biography, believes her natural hormones were also suppressed because reproducing was not important at the time.
The only way to fix the bloating was by reducing her stress, which meant eating more food and working out less while focusing on her mental health, she said.
Kaylin used affirmations and worked on ‘just having a better outlook on life.’
‘Once I was able to change my mindset, I was able to move back into more movement, which then allowed me to have the results in the gym. Plus, the proper hormones to support that,’ Kaylin raved about her new outlook on life and fitness routine.
Kaylin believes that her lips and breasts both got bigger because she had more estrogen when she was no longer in fight or flight mode.

Kaylin suggested meditating and doing daily affirmations or keeping a gratitude journal to work on lessening your stress, which can cause both mental and physical problems
‘So, if you’ve tried all of the skincare, all the gua shas, all the facials, you need to look at lifestyle. How much stress is in your life, what foods cause inflammation in your body,’ she advised.
Kaylin added while it was not a quick fix and took a while, ‘it’s so, so worth it.’
One commenter asked, ‘How does one reduce stress though? I find it extremely hard to relax even when I actively try to.’
Kaylin responded: ‘Meditate!!! You gotta slow your mind down before your nervous system will ever follow.’
