Janis first had dermal fillers in her cheeks 12 years ago whilst living in Australia. She explained: “Like most women of a certain age I simply wanted to hold the years back.”
She reportedly went to a cosmetic clinic that was attached to a salon and not run by medics and the injections left her with several lumps in her cheeks.
Janis claimed that her cheeks were swollen, red and lopsided and she “wasn’t happy with the results”.
She admitted that she didn’t know what to expect, but she certainly wasn’t pleased with the result. “I could feel ‘bumps’ under my skin and it appeared to look quite lumpy.”
When she moved back to England, she was recommended Dr Grace, “a brilliant” aesthetic doctor and founder of G&M Healthcare, and from the first visit “I was impressed by her expertise”.
Dr Grace explained: “Janis came to me and I had to dissolve the filler lumps and wait for her cheeks to settle before starting a fresh.
“The filler dissolver removed the lumps and corrected the lopsidedness. Needless to say that Janis has been coming to me for her aesthetic treatments since then and we have become friends too.”
The doctor dissolved her existing fillers and Janis had to wait for that to settle before starting on a new programme of very subtle fillers and botox.

After that, she was very pleased with the results. “I tend to keep my treatments under the radar from friends and family as no one mentioned it to me I didn’t discuss it!”
Janis is now happier than ever with her new appearance and people tell her she doesn’t look her age.
She added: “I have never been disappointed but in my opinion, the mark of a great aesthetics doctor is that there is nothing dramatic about the treatment, it just looks natural.

Since then, Janis has had many treatments with Dr Grace over the years and they have become very good friends.
